BIS live E-card Brief
Live e-card brief from BIS, I tried to keep my design as simple as possible and encorprate Christmas with business imagery. Therefore i thought a tie with a typographic element would look good. I wasn't sure at first but I am happy with the outcome.
Unit 8: Design Principles in Art & Design
Wine labels for an awards evening of my choice, I choose the british comedy awards as I am a big fan of comedy. I didn't start very well with this project I really struggled for ideas but I am confident that I ended up with a really high quality outcome. I am delighted with my labels and feel they are finished to a professional standard.
NCFE Digital Imaging
This was the first project I did and as you can tell it is very basic, but that is how I wanted it to be. We had to design a skateboarding company from scratch, I am not a fan of skateboarding and I barely know anything of it but while researching I found a gap in the market, I noticed that no companies advertise skateboarding as a sport. So i created 'Driven', a company based on pushing people to be the best they can, I designed clothing on practicality not design as my companies main goal was to advertise skateboarding as a sport and push people to be the best they can.
Unit 12: Computers in Art & Design
For this project we picked illustrators names from a hat, I was fortunate enough to get Emil Kozak a designer who's work I enjoy.I used a piece of his work as my front cover but i swapped the colours to different ones as it didn't look good as front cover to begin with. The face was an accident, I was struggling for ideas one day and decided to trace over his face in the colour scheme of my magazine, I kept at it for some time and when i got to a point i realized just how good it looked and therefore used for my main piece. At first glance the designs don't mean much but there is a reason why i put everything i this magazine it all relates to him in some way.
